Elks Camp Moore/ karefottlake

Elks Camp Moore is still there and in operation. We have programs all summer long and provide services for over 600 campers with developmental disabilities. The pictures you have on your web site are of the property near camp not the actually camp property
I received the following from Chris McManus, former director of the camp
The camp is alive and well. But the nerve of those Elks, they seem to abandon it every winter. The pictures are all from Lake Kearfott (Later Singer Corp)
That was Earl’s house. When they gave it up to a development company about 15 years ago, they just moved out. The company owned everything so they literally up-and-left!
The guy has (I think) 2 pictures from the canp and the rest from Kearfott or Singer lake. The sign at the bottom of the hill says ElksCamp Moore and therefore the entire property looks as though it belongs to the camp.
He is right that there is a huge construction project going on. They are building a hotel at the bottom of the hill. They are not building over the camp or tearing it down!
