Fairview Tunnel
This is the tunnel that runs under the
Fairview cemetery.
Inside was partly flooded, muddy, cold, damp, and black... wonderful. The tunnel
isn't really that long, you can see both sides from anywhere in the tunnel,
though it is large, I would guess close to 15 feet high and even wider across.
Down its length ran a set of half removed old train tracks, and next to it a
concrete walkway that allowed travel from one end to the other while keeping my
feet dry.
